VOSA have announced that they will increase the amount of road side testing of vans in a bid to improve standards among van drivers and operators.
50% of light goods vehicle fail their MOT’s each year and VOSA have announced that they intend to focus their efforts on light goods vehicles. VOSA are particularly concerned about the falling standards of some vehicles, drivers and operators. In an attempt to curb these declining standards VOSA will increase the amount of road side inspections of vans of ALL sizes, not just those operated by ‘O’ licence holders, and associated enforcement activities, VOSA has also produced a guide entitled Your Van Best Practice which you can download using the link below.
